I bought this game in the Android sale.  I used to love playing Championship Manager 1998 on the pc, so I thought it would be fun to have Tottenham Hotspur in my pocket.

First and foremost, this game IS Football Manager.  It isn’t just stealing the name, the game really does import the pc version over to mobile very well, except a lot of the more in-depth stuff has been left out.  Stuff you never really bother with anyway!  Player profiles and photos are all present (although if you lack space, the game can install without photos) and the in-game footage with the dots on the pitch that represent your players are all here.

The touch screen can be a bit fiddly.  You have to drag and drop players onto the substitute bench etc from the team sheet, and it can get a bit annoying when you miss and select the wrong player.  This is the only problem I have faced so far.

I have played it on my travels a lot, but it does take up quite a bit of battery life so make sure you have your charger present.

Come on you Spurs!

  • In depth, but mobile.
  • Can be a battery hog.

The gaffer of this ranch!

Once upon a time, this all started out as a free baby Wordpress website. Then Naytoe took over and made it all professional...and we have never looked back since.

In my spare time I like to play games (obviously) and read. I'm a fan of DC Comics and manga.
