Uncharted The Lost Legacy

[PS4.] What's this like minus the Drake?

I’m going to be brutally honest here and give a really unpopular opinion. I disliked Uncharted The Lost Legacy.  It has nothing to do with the fact there is no Nathan Drake. It has to do with the fact that you end up aimlessly driving around a boring environment for ages, I care nothing for the characters, and it feels like a load of DLC that should have just been added onto the back of Uncharted 4.

When I first started the game I thought yeah, this is alright.  I mean, I always thought Chloe was a bit of hot stuff in a lesbian fantasy sort of way!  Everything seemed ok until I got to the yawn fest that is chapter 4.  I seemed to be driving around for ages not knowing where I was going, and there were some annoying parts where you could do these extra bits to unlock treasure.  Me wanting to do everything decided to go for it. Damn was I annoyed.  Then I just couldn’t be bothered anymore. I dunno…maybe if I started again I might feel differently.

Graphically it looks stunning, and the voice acting is top notch. Gameplay wise it played like any other Uncharted game, jumping, climbing and lots of shooting.  I really would’nt mind if they got rid of the combat altogether in these game to be honest as there is far too much!  Or at least cut it down a tad.

Overall, it’s not a patch on the others in the series, but I can see them taking this series far.  Possibly with different leads.  Like the Assassins Creed series.
